Yes, there are and have been many compilations produced to try and help the people of Haiti. I was asked some weeks ago if I would join in a small group of artists from many different genres to put together an album in the hope of helping or trying to help in some way.
Subsequently, the disaster in Chile hit and there are so many around the world who will always need help, always.

ALBANY -- A new system allows New Yorkers to sign up for alerts when moderate and high-risk sex offenders move into or out of a community.
The state Division of Criminal Justice Services system allows New Yorkers to flag communities of interest to their family and then get alerts by a phone, e-mail, text message or fax. They can sign up for notices involving three communities at once.
There are more than 30,000 registered sex offenders…
